Me in my Halloween Costume for '07. I also wore an early version to the Serenity premiere. I'll probably wear it to the next Fanime and, if I get a chance, San Diego ComiCon.
The components are pretty straight-forward. Brown shirt, khakis, black suspenders, and German Paratrooper boots. The holster I'm very happy about, 'cause its the closest retail holster to Mal's I could get. The gunbelt is an East German Police Service belt, and highly resembles Mal's.
Only real touch up needed at this point is the brown pinstriping on the pants. Photo also seemed to make the belt seem darker than it really is. It's actually much closer to the holster in color than it appears. Meh.
Photo by I also have some photos with a trench-coat. Maybe I'll put those up later.
As per request, locations I got the pieces of this costume: Belt - Military Surplus store Holster - (don't remember, I'll get back to you) Boots - Military Surplus store Shirt - Goodwill Thrift Store (blind luck) Pants - any department store will do Suspenders - High-end department store (like Macy's) Coat (not pictured) - Military Surplus store

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
